Ascend is seeking an experienced Salesforce Senior Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll lead the development and customization of our Salesforce solutions, playing a crucial part in our mission to deliver cutting-edge CRM and cloud-based applications for the insurance industry.

Your Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Architect scalable solutions using Salesforce best practices and design patterns.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the Salesforce development team.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain data security and access control measures within Salesforce.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect).
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience with Salesforce DX and modern development practices.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security models, data modeling, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
